    Final day of Blue Angels movie's Pensacola theatrical run is Friday. How to get tickets

    The new feature-length documentary about the elite Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron Blue Angels will leave theaters Friday after its week-long run.

    An IMAX exclusive, "The Blue Angels" is a film produced by J.J. Abrams and Glen Powell that follows the Blue Angels during their 2022 show season.

    Here's how to get tickets for the final showing.

    How do I buy Blue Angels movie 2024 tickets?

    Tickets can be purchased directly through the AMC Theatres website at amctheatres.com/movies or the AMC Theatres phone app.

    According to AMC Theatres, tickets are on sale for $15.99 for adults, $12.99 for children ages 2 to 12 and $14.49 for adults 60 years or older. However, tickets purchased for showtimes prior to 4 p.m. will be 20% off.

    Tickets for Thursday are currently sold out, according to AMC Theatres, but tickets are still available for the eight showings on Friday.

    What times can I see the Blue Angels movie?

    The final day of the film's theatrical run is Friday. Here are the following showtimes available at AMC Bayou 15:

    • 10 a.m. (25% off)
    • 11:15 a.m. (25% off)
    • 12:30 p.m. (25% off)
    • 1:45 p.m. (25% off)
    • 3 p.m. (25% off)
    • 5:30 p.m.
    • 7:55 p.m. (requires adult supervision for those under 18)
    • 9:30 p.m. (requires adult supervision for those under 18)

    What is the plot of the Blue Angels?

    The film centers around the 2022 Blue Angels team and the introduction of "newbies" Lt. Cdr. "Cheese" Kapuschansky and Lt. Scott "Jamammy" Goossens as then-No. 1 Capt. Brian Kesselring leads his team in his final show season.

    Later in the documentary, you witness the selection and training process of the new recruits for the 2023 season, where you witness Cdr. Thomas Zimmerman, the current No. 6 opposing solo pilot; Lt. Cdr. Amanda Lee, current No. 4 slot pilot; and the current No. 1 Cdr. Alexander Armatas train for their first year on the team.

    Three-time Blue Angels boss Greg Wooldridge is also heavily featured in the film, providing context to the elite demonstration squadron and its history.
