PAXTON, Fla. (WMBB) – Paxton High School has promoted boys basketball Assistant Coach Hunter Allen as the new head coach of the Bobcats.

Allen replaces Jeff Bradley, who retired at the beginning of March after spending 26 seasons leading the program.

He served as an assistant under Bradley for the past few seasons and played under Bradley, graduating from Paxton in 2017.

This is the first varsity head coaching position for Allen, who has led the middle school and JV teams at Laurel Hill and Paxton.

Allen has been a part of all four Paxton Final Four teams, either as a player or an assistant coach.
