Boston, MA – A quick round of snow will move into the Boston area tonight, bringing slick roads and a wintry mix before transitioning into rain Thursday morning. According to the National Weather Service, a slight chance of snow begins late Wednesday night, with lows around 34°F and light east winds. Snow showers will persist into the early morning hours Thursday before mixing with rain between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Accumulations are expected to remain light, but untreated roads and sidewalks could become slick during the morning commute.

New restaurant down by Fall River’s waterfront opening this week
A new restaurant on Fall River’s waterfront is opening this week. Work has been completed at Morgan’s Cantina which will add a new restaurant option down on Ferry Street. In a September 2023 Licensing Board meeting, owner Michael Lund, who currently co-owns Pier 52 and the Tipsy Seagull with his wife Nicole and previously owned the Tipsy Toboggan, stated that this eatery will be different than the others with a second floor that overlooks the Braga Bridge and Mount Hope Bay on 1 Ferry Street. It will feature handmade authentic high-end Mexican cuisine and fresh craft cocktails, something ownership feels is lacking in this geographical area. The eatery will be open for brunch every Sunday (except this coming Sunday) at 10:00 a.m. with margarita mimosas, breakfast burritos, and more.
