The Pasadena Chalk Festival will return on June 17-18, 2023, at the Pasadena Convention Center's Plaza. The event celebrates art and culture and has been a beloved family-friendly event in Pasadena since 1993. This year's festival marks the 30th anniversary and will welcome new and veteran artists from all over the region. There will be a DJ spinning live music and new merch available to mark the milestone. The festival will feature over 500 artists creating 200 unique murals, each expressing cultural thought, social issues, and popular culture.
