Yankton jail inmate escapes treatment center
YANKTON, S.D. (KTIV) - The Yankton County Sheriff’s office is notifying the public of a man that escaped the Human Services Center. Wade Scott Heth, a 35-year-old from Wagner, South Dakota was out on furlough from the county jail for chemical dependency and was being held at the Human Services Center. According to a Facebook post made by the sheriff’s office, Heth is 5-foot-10 and around 180 pounds.
DWU names new head men’s basketball coach
MITCHELL, S.D.- – Dakota Wesleyan University Athletic Director Ross Cimpl has announced the appointment of Kevin Williamson as the new DWU men’s basketball head coach. Williamson, a 2007 graduate of the University of Great Falls, holds a master’s degree from Bemidji State University. He comes to Mitchell from his previous head coaching job at the University of Saint Katherine, a NAIA school located in San Marcos, Calif.
