WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — An arena that draws thousands of people to Park City each year is getting a new name. Hartman Arena will become Park City Arena today.

The arena had been named for its founder, Wink Hartman, who opened it in 2009. According to The Wichita Eagle , he sold it last year, blaming high property taxes. Hartman’s name still appears in the address for the arena — 8151 N. Hartman Arena Drive, Park City.

Officials with Lange Real Estate say the arena’s name change strengthens the arena’s connection with the community of Park City. They say the rebranding to Park City Arena is part of a strategic initiative to enhance the venue’s identity and foster greater community engagement.

The arena is open to naming rights partnerships and corporate sponsorships.

“We welcome businesses and brands to explore partnership opportunities with us,” Ben Bolander, the arena’s executive director, said in a news release. “Aligning your brand with Park City Arena provides a platform to reach diverse audiences and be part of a venue that is a beacon of entertainment and community spirit.”

To learn more about naming rights and sponsorship opportunities, contact Rachel Lange-Mills at Lange Real Estate .

If you go to the Hartman Arena website after Thursday, you will be redirected to ParkCityArena.com. The arena’s social media channels will also reflect the new name.
