Fabulous burgers and wings are hiding in this small MS Delta town
Are these the best hamburgers in Mississippi? That question was recently asked on Facebook by a restaurant in the Mississippi Delta. Given Mississippi's reputation for food , that's a bold question to ask. But according to locals, Southern Satisfaction Restaurant has the burgers to back it up and more. "It's the only place around here that I know of where you can get a homestyle burger ," said Gavin Roberson of Moorhead. "He takes the ground meat and makes the patty himself and the meat isn't frozen. "He makes the food like he's making it for himself or his family or a cookout. You can tell he puts more effort into his food than other places do. I get their cheeseburger with everything on it and bacon. Their bacon is cooked right. He knows how to season burgers really good. It's good every time. I've never had a bad experience there." Southern Satisfaction Restaurant is located in Moorhead. On the off-chance you've never heard of Moorhead, here's little about it. According to the website censusreporter.org , it has a population of just over 1,400 people and has a footprint of 1.3 square miles. It sits in Sunflower County and is
