DEFUNIAK SPRING, Fla. (WMBB) – The North Bay Haven baseball team has pulled off two major upsets this week to advance to the Class 3A District 1 Final.

The Buccaneers entered the tournament with a 6-19 record and the lowest (No. 7) seed.

They defeated two-seed Marianna 6-4 in eight innings on Monday and three-seed Walton 12-9 on Tuesday to earn a spot in the finals.

North Bay Haven will need a miracle to win the title game when they face the No. 1 ranked team through all Florida classifications, Pensacola Catholic, on Thursday, May 2.
