OZARK, Mo. (KY3) - Crews will discuss the traffic impacts and updates on the U.S. 65 widening project in Christian County on Tuesday evening. The project should relieve traffic congestion between Christian County Route CC/J and Christian County Route F in Ozark. It will add a lane in each direction in the median between Route CC/J and Missouri Route 14 and auxiliary lanes that connect the interchange ramps between Route 14 and Route F.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) — Springfield’s Convoy of Hope is responding to northeast Oklahoma, which has been devastated by more tornadoes. The relief agency will assist in the Barnsdall area southwest of Bartlesville. A powerful tornado on Monday night destroyed homes, uprooted trees, toppled powerlines, and forced the evacuation of a nursing home. One person died in the storm.

Homeowner tilling yard hits natural gas pipe near downtown Springfield
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - Springfield City Utility crews say a homeowner working in his yard hit a natural gas line. The incident happened around midday on Tuesday in the 700 block of North Grant, near downtown Springfield. The man told crews he was tilling in his yard without knowing where the pipes were. The pipe he hit sprung a leak. Crews fixed the leak shortly after the incident.
