Six arrested in two simultaneous search warrants in Owensboro

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations, General Investigations, Patrol and K9 units arrested six people in two simultaneous search warrants on Friday in Owensboro.

Officials state the two search warrants were done at targeted residences in the 1100 block of East 5th Street and the 410 block of Center Street. The two warrants were part of an investigation into ongoing drug trafficking from the residences.

Officials say during the search multiple types of evidence were located that indicated an ongoing drug trafficking operation including baggies of methamphetamine, empty baggies with methamphetamine residue, glass pipes, individual baggies of synthetic marijuana, digital scales and US currency.

The six people arrested are as follows:

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Buy/Possess Drug Paraphernalia
• Margaret Fuqua, 32
  • Trafficking in Synthetic Drugs
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Buy/Possess Drug Paraphernalia
• Lisa Super-Douglas, 53
  • Trafficking in Synthetic Drugs
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Buy/Possess Drug Paraphernalia
  • Failure to Appear (Fraudulent Use of Credit Card)
  • Non-Payment of Court Costs, Fees or Fines
    • Theft by Unlawful Taking (shoplifting)
    • Theft by Deception (cold checks)
• Bruce D. Curry, 41
  • Trafficking in a Controlled Substance
  • Parole Violation Warrant
  • Failure to Appear (Fraudulent Use of Credit Card)
• Paul Bray, 38
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Buy/Possess Drug Paraphernalia
• Melissa McCormick, 63
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Buy/Possess Drug Paraphernalia
