A Mississippi man was arrested in Iowa after police said he was found with drugs and guns in his vehicle.

Police in Ottumwa, Iowa, arrested Fred Anthony Zuviceh III, 34, of Picayune. He has been charged with a variety of charges, including possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance – marijuana, failure to affix a drug tax stamp, two counts of persons ineligible to carry dangerous weapons, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to court records, Ottumwa officers contacted Zuviceh shortly after 2 a.m. on April 26 after receiving a report of a man with a firearm on North Court Street.

Police report that a search was performed after they saw paraphernalia in plain view in Zuiceh’s vehicle. During the search, officers found 25.7 grams of a crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine, a marijuana cigarette, a THC vape container, scales, packaging materials, a handgun, and a shotgun.

Zuiceh was taken into custody. His bail has been set at $30,000.
