UPDATE 10:00 A.M.: The Missouri State Highway Patrol says William Howard Brown Jr. has been located and is safe.

    Original story:

ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Mo. — The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office and Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) have issued an endangered silver advisory for an Osceola man who went missing Sunday evening.

According to a release from MSHP, 73-year-old William Howard Brown Jr. went missing around 5 p.m. on May 19.

Brown was last seen leaving a private drive on Northeast 171 on a white and black Polaris UTV, but authorities say it’s unclear which direction Brown may have been headed.

Brown has been diagnosed with dementia. He is approximately five feet, 10 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes, and was wearing a camouflage baseball hat, a blue t-shirt and denim overalls.

Anyone who spots Brown or has information regarding his whereabouts are asked to call 911 or call the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office at 417-646-2579.
