Afton woman booked on warrant in Creston
(Creston) -- An Afton woman was booked on a warrant in Creston Sunday evening. The Creston Police Department says 41-year-old Amanda Morris was arrested shortly after 6 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear for possession of contraband in a correctional institution, possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, 1st offense, and operating while under the influence, 1st offense. Authorities say the arrest occurred at the north Casey's.

(Liberty Center) -- The Southeast Warren boys golf team extended its season on Wednesday. The Warhawks were one of 11 KMAland teams to make it out of sectional tournament action on Wednesday.
