Orangeville, Pa. — A 63-year-old woman was charged after she called 911 multiple times without reporting an emergency, police say.

Darla Moore of Orangeville began calling the 911 center on March 18 at 8 p.m. and continued making multiple non-emergency calls until the following day at 4 a.m., according to Trp. Paul Kelly of state police at Bloomsburg.

Police say Moore was warned to stop calling the center unless she was reporting an emergency, but she persisted and was charged with making false reports.
