Appeal denied for Youngstown man convicted in murder of Warren man
The appeal of a Youngstown man convicted of the murder of a man during a home invasion in Warren back in 2023 has been denied. According to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office, the appeal for 27-year-old Ronique Requel has been denied by the Ohio 11th District Court of Appeals on Monday.
UPDATE: More details revealed in Friday night shooting in Austintown
Austintown police are investigating after a shooting late Friday. APD says it happened shortly before 6pm along Nantucket Drive off Burkey Road. Police tell us an 18 year old man suffered a single gunshot wound. He is recovering in the hospital and is in stable condition as of this entry.
