Ontario PD Patrol Unit Involved in 2-Vehicle Traffic Collision

ONTARIO, Calif., Mar. 27 (KNN) —A two-vehicle traffic collision involved an Ontario police officer early Wednesday morning in the city of Ontario.

An Ontario police officer, along with another driver, were both transported to a local hospital in unknown condition after a crash involving an Ontario PD patrol unit just before 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of Jurupa Street and South Milliken Avenue.

It is currently unknown if the officer was responding with lights and sirens to a call as he drove into the intersection, or if the other driver struck the officer.

Ontario PD had all four major intersections closed as they investigated the traffic collision.
