OLMSTED FALLS, Ohio (WJW) — Northeast Ohio is getting a new Gunselman’s location, this time around, featuring steak in a 19th Century setting.

Gunselman’s Steakhouse and Bar is planning to open up this summer after Gunselman’s Restaurants Group acquired the historic Olmsted Falls library on Main Street.

“With our deep-rooted commitment to quality and hospitality, we look forward to welcoming residents and visitors alike to experience our blend of culinary excellence and vibrant ambiance,” David Grace, Gunselman’s Restaurant Group partner, said in a press release.

Gunselman’s Tavern, opened up in Fairview Park in 1936, and added Gunselman’s To Go in Rocky River just a couple years ago to the restaurant group.

The new locale is going to highlight the restored landmark, bringing a polished but casual dining experience to the main level, according to the restaurant group, while putting the pub in the lower level.
