Cape Girardeau man sentenced for selling meth to undercover officer
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - A Cape Girardeau will be spending some time in prison for selling methamphetamine to an undercover officer. According to the United States Attorney’s Office, 30-year-old Trevon D. Starnes was sentenced on Tuesday, May 28, to serve 151 months in federal prison for distributing meth. After serving his sentence, Starnes will be placed on supervised release for three years.

BOLLINGER COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) – Two face charges after a Benton, Mo. man died after he was struck by a golf cart in Bollinger County on Sunday. Emmett B. Gage, 47, of Oran faces charges of felong driving while intoxicated resulting in death of another and careless and imprudent driving resulting in crash.
Man arrested for allegedly stealing truck, UTV
SCOTT CITY, Mo. (KFVS) - A man is facing charges after he is accused of stealing a pickup truck and UTV from two different people. According to the Scott City Police Department, officers were called to a report of a theft in the early morning hours of May 23. The victims told police their Polaris Ranger side-by-side was stolen from a garage on the property. Officers searched the area but did not find the UTV.
