A Warmer Weekend and a Hot Monday
LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Rising motion in advance of a wave in the upper level wind flow will move to our east, ending our chance of showers after Friday morning. We will be under a warm airmass with enough sun as skies clear Friday afternoon the reach the low 80’s. A hint of influence from the Mexican Plateau will bring our hottest weather with low 90’s likely. A front from the Rockies will arrive Tuesday morning with a chance of a shower followed by drier air Tuesday afternoon.

More Clouds in Our Skies Thursday, Warm
LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - As tropical Storm Isaias intensifies into a hurricane in the gulf, it will track far east of Texas, likely making landfall Friday night in Alabama or the western Florida panhandle. Un related to Isaias, an easterly flow of somewhat more moist air between ~4,000’ and 10,000′ altitude will bring more clouds into our skies Thursday. I cannot say impossible for an isolated shower Thursday, but am not putting that into my forecast. If anything, a drier, but still warm flow from the north will return with sunnier skies Friday.
