BPD: Woman arrested on suspicion of street racing
The Bakersfield Police Department arrested a woman around 7 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Old River Road and White Lane on suspicion of street racing. According to a BPD news release, Meylin Rosi Barrera was driving a white Chevrolet Camaro and was racing against a black Camaro. Barrera crashed into several cars stopped at White Lane, leaving three adults and one juvenile injured, the agency reported.
