Tourist train cancels 2026 visit to Arlington
The retro locomotive train stop in Arlington that was originally scheduled for October has been cancelled, according to event organizer Tiffany Brockhoff. Brockhoff still held out hope for a spring 2027 visit and will continue to be in contact with “Friends of the 261”, a Minneapolis-based non-profit organization that employs the train for tourist excursions in the Midwest. The organization was formed in 1991. “(Friends of the 261) are hopeful (Arlington) will be on the (future) list,” Brockhoff wrote.
