He appeared to be suffering from a stab wound to his shoulder, police said. The man was transported to Palomar Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

According to Oceanside Police, the stabbing may have been a result of a robbery, however, that has not been confirmed at this time.

Officers searched the area, but no suspect was found. An investigation into the stabbing remains ongoing. Anyone with information related to this incident is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at (619) 235-8477.
