Ocean City's Bikefest announces first big live music act. Here's who's performing for free.

Get ready to rock, rally and roll at the 2024 OC Bikefest, rolling into town this fall.

From Sept. 11-15, Bikefest attendees will gather together along Coastal Highway to indulge in all things motorcycles and rock 'n' roll. Here's a first look at which bands will be taking the stage.

Buckcherry set to kick off OC Bikefest

The first musical act for the 2024 OC Bikefest has been announced.

Buckcherry, the five-piece, hard-rock, California band led by tattooed frontman Josh Todd, is set to kick off the motorcycle-centered festival on Wednesday, Sept. 11.

"OC BikeFest proudly welcomes Buckcherry to OC BikeFest 2024! Don’t miss this free for all show on the Inlet MainStage," the festival said in an April 12 Facebook post.

A history of rock at OC BikeFest

Rock 'n' roll has always been a big part of OC BikeFest, with big names joining the bill year after year.

In 2023, the lineup included Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Shinedown and more. Previously, in 2022, the lineup featured the Zac Brown Band, Disturbed, Godsmack and Travis Tritt, while 2021's lineup included George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers, Bret Michaels and Kid Rock.
