DURHAM, N.C. (WNDU) - The Notre Dame softball team defeated North Carolina in come-from-behind fashion in the first round of the ACC Tournament on Wednesday afternoon. The No. 10 seed Fighting Irish (27-22) were down 3-0 to the seventh-seeded Tar Heels after three innings, but Jane Kronenberger and Anna Holloway hit back-to-back solo homers in the top of the fourth to cut the deficit down to one.
