After beating South Bend Clay Thursday night 5-1, the Lady Cougars thumped Jimtown 10-0 on the Jimmies' home field Friday night. Sophomore pitcher Eva Geyer struck out nine batters in five innings of work, giving up only one hit. She also added three RBI.

The Notre Dame men’s lacrosse team defeated Virginia on Saturday in a 13-12 overtime victory that punched their first ticket to a national championship game since 2014. The victory came after the Irish appeared almost unbeatable throughout their 10-win regular season.
