Plymouth Man Arrested on Domestic Battery Charge
A Plymouth man was arrested Tuesday, May 30 after the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated a call that a man was cut by a woman and he was bleeding profusely. When officers arrived at the scene in the 10,000 block of Lincoln Highway in Plymouth, they found 34-year-old Drew DeMask laying on top of items in a garage with blood on one of his arms from a laceration. An officer rendered first aid and assisted him from the garage until Plymouth EMS arrived at the scene.

Plymouth Police were called to Walmart Sunday, May 28 on a report of a suspicious person parked in the parking lot. Officers found the sole occupant of the vehicle and identified him as Robert Quinn Jr., 38 years old, from Winamac.

Two South Bend police officers are recovering after receiving dog bites while responding to a domestic dispute on Orange Street. It happened on Tuesday morning, May 30. WNDU reports the officers were attacked by one of two dogs that charged at them while on the call at a home in the 2500 block of Orange Street. The officers used Tasers to stop the attack. South Bend Man Arrested Following Traffic Stop
A South Bend Man was arrested Friday, May 26 following a traffic stop in the area of U.S. 30 and Oak Drive in Plymouth just after midnight. According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, 41-year-old Jeremy Hill was found to be operating a vehicle with a suspended license. The Marshall County K9 officer Bennett and his partner K9 Diesel were called to conduct a search. The K9 reportedly alerted to the odor of narcotics from the vehicle. The vehicle was subsequently searched and a small amount of suspected methamphetamine was found. The substance was field tested and showed a positive result for methamphetamine.
Alcohol a Factor in House Collision
(Hudson Lake, IN) - A 21-year-old man was allegedly drunk when he drove his sports car into a house in La Porte County early Saturday over in Hudson Lake. According to police, the driver said he just purchased a 2018 Porsche and was showing off for his friend, who was a passenger in the car. It appears he was traveling too fast for a curve and drove into the yard, before slamming into the side of the house on Bell Avenue. The impact was hard enough to move the house partially off its foundation, as well as to induce heavy damage on the inside of the structure.
