Norwell High's Tess Murphy has been voted the High School Softball Player of the Week .
The freshman collected over 28,000 votes to earn the honor. Murphy belted a go-ahead grand slam in the top of the seventh inning in a 10-9 win over Cohasset.

Jill Ondrick, Soph., Archbishop Williams: Ondrick belted 2 home runs in an 8-4 loss to St. Mary's of Lynn.

Mia Bradshaw, Sr., South Shore Tech: Bradshaw had a big week for the Vikings. She went 4-for-4 with 4 RBIs in a win over Avon. She had a walk-off single in a 4-3 win over Upper Cape Tech.
Bilyana Wilkin + Jess Mulrey, Hingham: Wilkin pitched a 6-inning shutout with 4 hits allowed and 11 strikeouts in a 12-0 win over Hanover. She also had 3 RBIs and 4 runs at the plate. Mulrey had a walk-off single in a 5-4 win over Duxbury. She went 3-for-4 at the plate with 2 doubles and 2 runs scored.
Gabby Diaute + Catherine McPhee, Braintree: Diate (5-for-6, 4 RBIs, 4 doubles, 3 runs) tallied her 100th career hit in a win over Framingham. McPhee went 4-for-4 with 2 doubles and 4 RBIs.
Calli Pineau, Sr., Abington: Pineau had 3 doubles and 3 runs scored in a win over Norwell.
Shannon MacLeod, Sr., Notre Dame Academy: MacLeod struck out 15 batters and went 3-for-4 at the plate with a 3-run home run in a 9-4 win over Cohasset. She pitched a gem (5 hits, 12 strikeouts) as her Cougars handed Abington its first loss of the season.
Ava Donaghue, Fontbonne Academy: In an 11-3 win over O'Bryant, Donaghue earned the win on the mound while striking out 9. She belted a grand slam and a solo home run to finish with 5 RBIs.
Taryn Leonard, Jr., Whitman-Hanson : Leonard belted 2 home runs and drove in 5 runs in a 19-7 win over Quincy/North Quincy. She had another 5-RBI day, highlighted by a grand slam, in a 15-0 win over Scituate.
Delaney Moquin, Jr., Silver Lake: Moquin had a huge week for the Lakers. In a 3-2 win over Plymouth, she had 19 strikeouts, including No. 300 of her career, and belted a solo home run in the sixth inning. She fired a 15-strikeout, 1-hitter in a 5-0 win over Pembroke. She also fired a 1-hitter with 13 strikeouts in a 12-0 win over Whitman-Hanson.
Caitlyn Simms + Taylor Soderberg, Cohasset: Simms pitched a 6-inning 2-hitter with 8 strikeouts in a 12-0 win over Sandwich. Soderberg went 3-for-3 with 2 doubles and 2 runs.
Abby Greene, Sr., Norwell: Greene (3-for-4) hit 2 home runs with 6 RBIs in a 14-1 win over Scituate.
Sofia Blanco + Sarah McIntyre, Marshfield: Blanco pitched a 1-hitter while McIntrye had 3 hits, including a 3-run home run and 5 RBIs, in a 14-0 win over Dennis-Yarmouth.
Kailyn Durham, Jr., Canton: Durham had 5 RBIs in a 17-11 win over Durfee.
Kelsey Blanchette + Sophie Jorjorian, Jrs., Lincoln-Sudbury: The junior UMass commit Blanchette struck out 10, allowed six hits and walked one in a big win as the Warriors (11-0) stayed unbeaten with a 5-2 win over Tyngsborough (9-2). Earlier in the week, Jorjorian threw a no-hitter, going five innings and striking out 10 with three walks as the Warriors earned an 18-0 (5 inn.) win over Newton South.
Abby Brown, Soph., Wellesley: Brown went 2-for-3 and drove in three runs as the Raiders defeated Cohasset, 12-2.
Lizzie Brytowski, Sr., Hopedale: The University of New England pledge punched out 17 of the 21 batters she faced and didn't allow a hit in an 11-1 win over Assabet. Brytowski also doubled and launched a three-run homer for the Blue Raiders (10-1). Brytowski also homered and drove in four in a 25-1 win over Whitinsville Christian.
Chloe Nestor, Jr., Framingham: Nestor was 3-for-4 with a homer for the Flyers in a loss to Milton.
Alicia Ellis, Fr., Millis: Ellis launched a walk-off homer in the bottom of the ninth to deliver a 4-3 win over Norwood in extra innings.
Allyson Fagan, Soph., Medway: The second baseman/pitcher Fagan batted a team-leading .500 and posted a two-inning save in a 5-4 win over Holliston during a 3-0 week for the Mustangs.
Lyndsey Kay, Sr., Blackstone Valley Tech: Kay went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer, a triple and double in a 9-0 win over Monty Tech in Fitchburg.
Ava McLeod, Fr., AMSA: McLeod didn't allow a hit over five innings in an 18-1 win over Worcester Tech. McLeod struck out seven and was 2-for-4 with an RBI at the plate, stealing two bases. McLeod also struck out seven and delivered the walk-off hit on a 3-for-3 day for the Eagles in a 5-4 win over Blackstone Valley Tech.
Janelle Scirocco + Ella Calvey, Srs., Nipmuc: Scirocco belted a two-run homer in the first inning to propel the host Warriors (11-1) in a 3-1 win over St. Paul. In an 18-0 win over Whitinsville Christian, Calvey combined with Brynn Di Anni on a five-inning perfect game, and went 3-for-4 with six RBIs.
Sofia Simmons, Wayland: Simmons was 3-for-4 with a double as the Warriors upended Boston Latin, 7-4.
Addy Walls, Fr., + Holly Paharik, S\Jr., Hopkinton: Walls was stellar, striking out 16 in a no-hitter for the Hillers in a 13-2 victory over Holliston. She also struck out seven across three scoreless innings in an 8-4 win over Millis. The Boston College commit Paharik, meanwhile, smacked a three-run home run for hit number 99 and then her 100 th career hit with the Hillers in a loss to Medway.
