Naked man stops I-93 traffic, police say
The incident occurred Sunday afternoon near exit 15. Police responded to multiple reports regarding a naked man on I-93 Sunday. At around 4:15 p.m., Massachusetts State Police received several calls about a man in the travel lanes of I-93 near exit 15 without any clothing on. Troopers found the man laying in the lanes of the southbound side of the highway when they arrived, a police spokesperson said.
Update: Flood warning issued for Bristol and Plymouth counties until Thursday midday
On Thursday at 9:08 a.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated flood warning in effect until 12:15 p.m. for Bristol and Plymouth counties. The weather service says, "Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected for portions of southeastern Massachusetts, including Bristol and Plymouth and Rhode Island, including the following counties, Bristol, Kent, Newport, Providence and Washington counties."
