Plano PD arrest suspect in connection with murder
Plano Police Officers were dispatched at around noon May 16 to the 300 block of Dogwood Place in response to the report of a dead person. Upon officers’ arrival, a female was located inside the residence. Plano Fire-Rescue personnel pronounced the subject dead. Injuries to the female and evidence found within the apartment indicated signs of foul play. A suspect has been identified and arrested in connection to this incident. The names of the victim and suspect are being withheld due to the notification of the next of kin. With the suspect in custody, there are no public safety concerns at this time. This incident is an on-going investigation by the Crimes Against Persons Unit.
