Michael Ray Jones, 30, is charged with two counts of rape, a Level 3 felony, along with multiple Level 6 felony counts of domestic battery, confinement, kidnapping and intimidation.

Jones is a Hamilton County employee and has worked for Hamilton County Community Corrections since April 2023 as a Living Unit Coordinator. He was booked into jail on Friday.

According to court documents, police were called to a home on Natasha Drive on April 26 for the reported rape.

The victim accused Jones of dragging her into the bedroom and raping her. He also reportedly bit her on the face during the act.

Jones reportedly told police that his alleged assault “felt like rape to him,” according to the court documents. He blamed his anger toward the woman for fueling his actions and reportedly told police he felt sorry for what he had done.
