San Luis Obispo attorney loses $3.6 million lawsuit, selling assets
Two weeks after losing a $3.6 million lawsuit, San Luis Obispo attorney John Belsher is selling his personal belongings, with plans to sell his home and move out of state. During an estate sale at his home on El Cerrito Street in SLO on Friday and Saturday, advertised as “everything goes,” Belsher sold furniture, art, high-end Trek bikes, construction equipment and more. People working the sale said Belsher is moving to the Midwest and is working to sell his home in SLO.
Online applications now being accepted for Mid-State Fair Junior Fair Board
– Online applications are now being accepted for the Fair’s “Junior Fairboard” volunteer program. The California Mid-State Fair Junior Fairboard consists of young people between 16 and 25 years of age living in San Luis Obispo County. Members assist with the day-to-day operations of the annual Fair, including events such as assisting in livestock and equestrian support, pageant set up, public judging, market research, and any other duties/committees as assigned by Fair Staff, management, or Fair Board. In addition, members help in the livestock area during weigh-in and auction day, act as ushers in the Main Grandstand and scan tickets.
