Pedestrian hit by car in Daviess County

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- A pedestrian in Daviess County is in critical condition this morning after being struck by a vehicle.

According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened in the 1400 block of the Wendell Ford Expressway just before midnight. Deputies say that the pedestrian was hit on the Westbound off ramp.

First responders say that they began life saving measures at the scene until medics arrived and were able to transport the victim to a local hospital. The driver of the vehicle was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
