According to the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office, someone is contacting residents within the community saying that they are calling to let them know about unpaid citations through the court system.

The schemer is identified as Sergeant Brian Martins of the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office and is looking for money in return for clear citations. They are also requesting payment through different online services.

If you receive a phone call like this, hang up and contact your local police department, as these phone calls are schemes.
