Residents gear up for 25 miles of antiques, collectables and deals in the National Road Yard Sale

BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF) — What stretches from St. Louis to Baltimore, and has fabulous bargains all along the way?

It’s the National Road Yard Sale.

And 25 of those 800-plus miles are in Belmont County, Ohio.

In fact, in this area it was originally named the 25-mile yard sale, because it begins in Bridgeport and stretches to Fairview.

It starts next Wednesday morning and runs through Saturday.

The National Road Yard Sale has been going on for over 20 years on the historic National Road. And that covers not only just the State of Ohio but it expands from Ohio into Illinois. So lots of places and opportunities to find hidden gems and treasures.”

You can find antiques and collectibles, baby gear, furniture, home decor, kitchenware and everything else from baskets to bicycles.

Anyone is welcome to set up a table to sell their wares, or just cruise the historic highway searching for bargains.

Again, the National Road Yard Sale is May 29 at 8 a.m. through June 2 at 8 p.m.
