Man dies in rollover crash that brought turnpike traffic to a halt: OSHP

SPRINGFIELD TWP., Ohio (WKBN) — A crash that brought the westbound lanes of Interstate 76 to a halt Wednesday has a confirmed fatality, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Shortly before 8:30 p.m., first responders were called out to the westbound lanes of Interstate 76 for reports of a rollover accident. It happened near the Springfield Road bridge in Springfield Township.

One car was involved in the crash. The man driving the car has died, according to troopers with the highway patrol. His identity has not been released at this time.
