    Severe weather threat ends in most of the Ozarks

    **UPDATE 10:45 PM**

    Dent and Pulaski County in Missouri are still under a tornado watch until midnight tonight. The threat of severe weather for the remaining counties has ended as the cold front swept through the Ozarks.

    The tornado watch has been extended to include Missouri counties to the east of Highway 65. This watch will expire tonight at midnight. Below is our expected timeline for tonight’s severe weather.

    The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for portions of southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas until 10 P.M. All modes of severe weather will be possible Tuesday evening as strong storms push into the Ozarks.

    The tornado watch includes Bates, Vernon, Barton, Jasper, Newton, McDonald, Henry, St. Clair, Cedar, Dade, Lawrence, Barry, Benton, Hickory, Polk, Greene, Christian, Stone, Morgan, Camdenton, Dallas, Webster, and Laclede counties in Missouri.

    Benton, Washington, Carroll and Madison counties in Arkansas are also included in the tornado watch.
