Accident involving semi and two other vehicles results in minor injuries

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Dispatch has confirmed an accident involving a semi and a passenger vehicle at 41 and Hillsdale Road in Vanderburgh County on Monday night.

According to officials, a call reporting the accident came in at 10:06 p.m.. Dispatch says the accident involved a semi and a passenger vehicle, but a third vehicle may have been involved.

The southbound lanes of Highway 41 were closed while crews worked to clear the scene.

Officials at the scene tell Eyewitness News that a red vehicle traveling westbound on Hillsdale attempted to crossover Highway 41, but struck a silver car which caught fire in a ditch. The red car was then struck by a truck towing a semi, knocking it into the same ditch as the silver vehicle.

Only minor injuries were reported following the accident.
