Motorcycle wreck in Harrison County sends 1 to the hospital

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — One person was taken to the hospital Monday afternoon following a vehicle accident involving a motorcycle on U.S. 19 in Harrison County.

According to an official with the Harrison County 911 Center, a vehicle accident with injuries was called in at 3:09 p.m. in the area of U.S. 19/Good Hope Pike in Clarksburg.

The official confirmed that at least one person was transported via Harrison County EMS as a result of the incident, but did not specify if any vehicles other than the motorcycle were involved.

The official was unable to provide any more information including the extent of the person’s injuries.

Responding to the scene were the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department, Clarksburg Police Department, Clarksburg Fire Department, as well as Harrison County EMS.
