INDOT announces planned road closure for State Road 64

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – The Indiana Department of Transportation announced a road closure for State Road 64 in Dubois County.

Transportation officials state beginning on or around May 28, crews will begin daily road closures in Dubois County near Birdseye that will occur between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. between State Road 162 and State Road 145.

Officials state during the project, crews will perform chip seal operations to extend the life of the road, and the work is expected to take two weeks to complete, weather depending.

Detour will be State Road 162 to I-64 to State Road 37 to State Road 64. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
