Morgan Wallen fans flood MetLife Stadium parking lots before the show

EAST RUTHERFORD − Bergen County became the place to be for country music fans on Friday as Morgan Wallen prepared for his show at MetLife Stadium .

The parking lots opened at 1:30 p.m. and some devoted fans started to file in at MetLife hours before the show. Wallen will perform Friday and Saturday as part of the "One Night at a Time World Tour."

Brady Pettit, a Poconos resident who drove two hours to see Wallen, said he had many songs he was looking forward to hearing and that Wallen rarely misses on any of his tracks.

“I’m excited to see his walkout which is usually 'Broadway Girls,'” Pettit said.

Wallen is a former contestant from "The Voice" and has won multiple awards since his debut in 2015, including fourteen Billboard Music awards.

Alex Nicotra of Westwood said he loves how Wallen blends multiple genres from country, pop, rock and rap. His favorite songs are "Tennessee Fan," "'98 Braves," and "7 Summers." To pass the time until the show, he and his friends are passing a football around with some Wallen songs in the background.

Sam Hincapie from Long Beach Island admits he doesn’t know much about Wallen’s music but said he is with his friend who is a huge fan and has been learning his songs leading up to the show. The South Jersey resident had his Colombian Cowboy hat on and said he’s ready to have a fun time everyone in the crowd.

Wendy C., who did not give her full last name, brought her two children and has been a fan since she heard "Heartless" with Wallen and Diplo. The family from Dutchess County, New York traveled an hour and a half and are looking forward to the atmosphere of everyone singing along.
