    Preston County roadwork to cause month-long delay

    ALBRIGHT, W.Va. (WBOY) — The West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) is asking travelers to plan ahead before roadwork begins next week in Preston County.

    According to a release from the WVDOH, work will take place on WV 26, Albright Road, from the intersection of County Route 15, Hudson Road, to the intersection of County Route 17, Woolen Mills Road.

    The work will consist of milling, paving and shoulder work beginning on Wednesday, May 22 and will last until Friday, June 28. The release also notes that this schedule could change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.

    Work will take place between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. During these times one-lane two-way traffic will be maintained with flaggers.
