PHOTOS: Lebanese Food Festival brings traditional dishes and music to Henrico County

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Lebanese Food Festival has kicked off on Friday, bringing traditional dishes and sweets as well as live music and dancing to Henrico County.

The 39th annual festival spans from Friday, May 17 through Sunday, May 19 and is held at Saint Anthony’s Church, located at 4611 Sadler Road in the Glen Allen area of the county.

The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and doors will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

Attendees have the opportunity to enjoy traditional foods like shawarma, grape leaves, spinach pies and more, as well as new food options, like Lebanese potato salad and sesame seed cookies.

On-site parking is available, but if lots are full, off-site parking will be available at Markel with free shuttles. A full menu and online ordering options can be found on the festival’s website.
