WARREN, NJ — 11 innings! Watchung Hills is moving on in the Somerset County Tournament after defeating Rutgers Prep in the quarterfinals on Thursday in 11 innings, 1-0.

“ ROBBIE CENTAMORE,” said WHRHS head coach Joe Tremarco. “We knew it was going to be a battle with their guy on the mound….but it was great to see the Sophomore grow up right before our eyes! We knew with his effort, we couldn’t lose this game. Ethan Byrd coming in and slamming the DOORS and another Sophomore JJ Jaconski with the clutch hit to score the Freshman Stefano DiGeronimo. Just a much needed TEAM win to get some MOJO for the most fun time of the year!”
