    Graduation season in Dallas County gets started Thursday

    Graduation season for the seven high schools in Dallas County officially gets underway on Thursday night with two ceremonies.

    Meadowview Christian School will have its graduation ceremony at 6 p.m. at Wadsen Field. Morgan Academy’s graduation will be held at 7:30 p.m. at its football stadium.

    Selma High School will have its graduation ceremony at 6 p.m. Friday at Memorial Stadium.

    The graduation ceremony for Ellwood Christian Academy will be on Sunday, May 19 during 10 a.m. worship service.

    Graduation ceremonies for Dallas County Schools will be held the week before Memorial Day in three straight days. Southside’s graduation will be held on Monday, May 20 at 6 p.m. at Panther Stadium.  Dallas County’s graduation will be held on Tuesday, May 21 at 6 p.m. at Martin Field in Plantersville. Keith closes out graduation season on Wednesday, May 22 at 6 p.m. in its gymnasium in Orrville.

    Morgan Academy guidance counselor Sheryl Schroeder said the school’s Class of 2024 left a memorable mark at the school, earning over $2 million in scholarship awards.

    “We are so proud of this class with their numerous awards and accomplishments,” Schroeder said. “It will be exciting to see how far each will go in the years to come.”
