Becky G to play Grandstand on opening night of Minnesota State Fair

Multi-platinum award-winning Latin singer Becky G is slated to perform at the Grandstand on the opening night of the 2024 Minnesota State Fair.

The fair announced she will perform on Thursday, Aug. 22. Tickets range from $44 to $88 and go on sale Friday via Etix .

Becky G, 26, has received four Latin Grammy nominations and has four No. 1 hits on the Billboard Latin Airplay charts for "Mayores", "Sin Pijama", "Mamiii", and "Bailé Con Mi Ex."

She released her debut album in 2019, titled "Mala Santa" and followed that up with her second studio album in 2022, "Esquemas," before headlining Coachella Festival in 2023.

She received the Billboard Women in Music Impact award in 2023 for using her music and platform to create positive social change while advocating on behalf of women both in, and beyond, the music industry.

It means that there are only two more concert announcements left for this year's Grandstand Series, on Wednesday, Aug. 28 and Sunday, Sept. 1.
