(NBC) — NBC’s “The Voice” goes live Monday for the first time this season with the Top 12.

It’s also the first chance for America to weigh in on the singers and all 12 of them talked about what is ahead.

It’s going to be a different atmosphere when the singers for Team Legend take the stage on Monday.

“I’m definitely nervous about the first live show,” said Zoe Levert. “I mean, who wouldn’t be?”

“I think this is going to be the most fun I’ve ever had on stage,” said Nathan Chester.

“I’m just grateful and excited and just ready to kind of bring it all, leave it on the stage,” said Bryan Olesen.

The energy and intensity might be different on Monday but Dan + Shay’s trio of singers will adjust.

“It’s really just like singing any other song except that there’s millions of people watching,” said Karen Waldrup.

“I think little 18-year-old Madison that didn’t turn a chair way back when would be just mind-blown at everything that’s going on,” said Madison Curbelo.

“I’m like, actually extremely excited,” said Tae Lewis. “But I’m also nervous because it’s in America’s hands now.”

That is the additional element that Team Chance and the others have to take into account.

“When I’m singing to America, I know that they’re gonna feel the heart of the song,” said Maddi Jane.

“It is going to pull out a sound that the viewer so far hasn’t heard of me just yet,” said Nadège.

“I’m very excited to like, have America finally have a say in it,” said Serenity Arce. “And like, kind of see what direction they’re going in.”

A direction Team Reba’s singers hope carries them all into next week’s Top Nine.

“I’m so nervous and excited,” said Asher Havon. “I feel like my entire life has literally led me up to this moment.”

“People say, ‘How do you feel?’ and I just go, ‘Insane,’” said L. Rodgers. “I don’t know how else to feel.”

“It’s one of those things where there’s no time to think it’s just time to do,” said Josh Sanders.

And do time is almost here.

“The Voice” airs Monday at 8 p.m. on NBC4, followed by the season’s next-to-last episode of “Deal or No Deal Island,” where that show is down to the final four competitors and the value of the final, season-ending case has gone over $10 million.
