President Biden is leading former President Trump in polls for the first time since October, according to The Hill/ Decision Desk HQ’s (DDHQ) latest average of polls .

Biden is ahead of Trump by 0.1 percentage points. The president is polling at 45 percent support to Trump’s 44.9 percent, based on DDHQ’s average of 685 polls pitting the two against each other in a likely 2024 match-up.

Sunday marked six months before Election Day in November. A new poll from I&I/TIPP Insights showed Biden 2 points ahead, a poll from Reuters/Ipsos showed Biden 1 point ahead and a new poll from ABC News/Ipsos also showed Biden 1 point ahead.

When independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is included in polling, Trump has a 1.1 percentage point lead in The Hill/DDHQ average of polls . The 144 polls included in the average show Trump at 41.2 percent support, Biden at 40.1 percent and Kennedy at 8.5 percent.

Biden has struggled to gain ground on Trump, especially in battleground states where recent polls have showed Trump ahead.

The former president holds a 3.3 percentage point lead on Biden in Michigan , a 3.1 percentage point lead in Wisconsin and a 0.7 percentage point lead over Biden in Pennsylvania .
