    Manalapan

    Dylan Shaffer

    Shaffer hurled a complete-game three-hitter and struck out seven and walked two in Manalapan's 1-0 win over Marlboro.

    Colts Neck

    Casey Gardiner

    Gardiner had two homers and went 3-for-4 with four RBI and scored four runs as the Cougars defeated Christian Brothers Academy 8-5. It was Colts Neck's second straight win over CBA in as many days. The wins knocked the Colts out of first place in Shore Conference Class A North and enabled Middletown South to clinch a tie for first place overall in the division. CBA and Middletown South are scheduled to meet the next two days. Wednesday, they will meet in a Monmouth County Tournament Marty Kenney Sr. Division (championship bracket) semifinal. Thursday, they will meet at Middletown South in a Class A North game.

    Tommy Diffley

    Diffley got his second save in as many days by getting a ground out to second with the tying run at the plate in the Cougars' 8-5 win over CBA. Monday, he got a strikeout with the tying runs on the bases and the go-ahead run at the plate in Colts Neck's 8-6 win over CBA.

    Middletown North

    Dylan Briggs

    Briggs went 4-for-5 with two doubles, four RBI and scored two runs as the Lions (8-9) defeated Howell 12-3 and kept their hopes alive of qualifying for the Shore Conference Tournament. Middletown North, which has won seven of its last 10 and is in the midst of what has become a traditional season-ending surge, has to defeat Red Bank Catholic Wednesday in a MCT Marty Kenney Sr. Division (championship bracket) semifinal to qualify for the SCT. Teams have to be .500 through the games of Wednesday afternoon to qualify for the SCT.

    Gabe Ahlemeyer

    Ahlemeyer went 2-for-3 with three RBI in the Lions' 12-3 win over Howell.

    Middletown South

    Lou D'Alessio

    D'Alessio's two-run triple with one out in the top of the eighth gave the Eagles the lead as they defeated Freehold Township 5-2 for their ninth straight win and clinched a tie for the overall Shore Conference Class A North championship. Middletown South can clinch the outright divisional title with a win over CBA Thursday. The Eagles are also the Class A North public school champion.

    Jack Concordia

    Concordia continued his recent hot streak by going 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in the Eagles' 5-2 win in eight innings over Freehold Township.

    Jacob Wenzel

    Wenzel picked up the win with five innings of one-run relief in the Eagles' 5-2 win in eight innings over Freehold Township. He struck out eight, walked one and allowed three hits.

    Shore

    Joe Santi

    Santi fired a complete-game three-hitter and struck out six and walked three and he also drove in the game's only run with fielder's choice in the top of the third as the Blue Devils made it nine wins in 11 games with a 1-0 win over Raritan.

    Red Bank Catholic

    Aidan Funk

    Funk went 3-for-3 with a double, a walk, four RBI and scored two runs as the Caseys defeated Monmouth and clinched the Shore Conference Class A Central non public divisional title. Wall is the overall Class A Central and champion and the Class A Central public school champion.

    Sean Griggs

    Griggs was 2-for-3 with a walk, two RBI and scored two runs in the Caseys' 11-4 win over Monmouth.

    Toms River North

    Kieran Mulholland

    Mulholland pitched the final five innings to pick up the win and went 2-for-3 with an RBI and scored a run in the Mariners' 6-4 win over Jackson Memorial. Mulholland allowed two runs on three hits, struck out three and walked three.

    Matawan

    Mark Kovach

    Kovach pitched five innings of no-hit ball and struck out 11 and walked one as the Huskies clinched the outright Shore Conference Class B North championship with a 4-0 win over Red Bank. It is Matawan's first outright divisional title since 1972. The Huskies also shared a divisional championship in 2011. Matawan is also the Class B North public school champion.

    Andrew Gendi

    Gendi pitched two innings of one-hit ball with four strikeouts and no walks in the Huskies' 4-0 win over Red Bank.

    Ocean

    Connor Tongring

    Tongring had a two-run double in the bottom of the fifth to pull Ocean within a run and added a two-run single in the sixth for insurance runs in the Spartans' come-from-behind 7-4 win over Neptune.

    Dillon Schneider

    Schneider's RBI single to center in the bottom of the sixth plated the go-ahead run in the Spartans' 7-4 win over Neptune. He went 2-for-2 with a walk and scored two runs.

    Bodhi Lettieri

    Lettieri pitched three scoreless innings of relief to pick up the win as the Spartans rallied from a three-run deficit after 4 1/2 innings and defeated Neptune 7-4 for their fifth straight win. Lettieri struck out six, walked three and allowed three hits.

    Ranney

    Ryan Costello

    Costello hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the third for his 12th of the season, went 3-for-4 and pitched a 1-2-3 top of the seventh to pick up the win as the Panthers rallied from a four-run deficit after 2 1/2 innings and defeated St. John Vianney 7-6. Costello is now four homers away from breaking the Shore Conference single-season record of 15 set in 2022 by Joe Stanzione of Middletown South.

    Wall

    Will Hague

    Hague's three-run triple to center in the top of the seventh plated the go-ahead runs as the Crimson Knights scored four in the seventh to defeat Manasquan 8-6.

    Jake Howlett

    Howlett went 2-for-3 with two walks, an RBI and scored a run in the Crimson Knights' come-from-behind 8-6 win over Manasquan.

    Kevin Rusniak

    Rusinak pitched two-hit ball over 5 1/3 innings with seven strikeouts and one walk in Manalapan's 3-2 win over Freehold Township in a Monmouth County Tournament Ted Jarmusz Division (consolation bracket) game.

    Manalapan will host Red Bank in the semifinal round of the consolation bracket.

    Marlboro

    Mike Consolazio

    Consolazio's two-run bases-loaded single with one out in the bottom of the sixth gave the Mustangs the lead for good as they scored three in the sixth and defeated Red Bank Catholic 7-5 to clinch a berth in the Shore Conference Tournament. Consolazio was 4-for-4 with a triple and four RBI.

    Colts Neck

    Joseph Pignatelli

    Pignatelli had two doubles and was 3-for-4 with three RBI as the Cougars defeated Christian Brothers Academy 8-6 and dropped the Colts into a tie for first place in Shore Conference Class A North with Middletown South.

    Ronan Kiely

    Kiely was 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and scored two runs in the Cougars' 8-6 win over CBA.

    Diffley recorded a strikeout for the final out with the tying runs on second and third in the Cougars' 8-6 win over CBA.

    Christian Suarez

    Suarez recorded his third consecutive shutout by firing a two-hitter as the Crimson Knights clinched the outright Shore Conference Class A Central championship with a 2-0 win over Holmdel. Suarez struck out six and walked four. It is Wall's first divisional title since 2019, when a team led by pitcher and current Houston Astros' Minor League pitcher Trey Dombroski and coached by former head coach Todd Schmitt won the NJSIAA Group 3 championship.

    Dane Rue

    Rue's two-run double to left in the bottom of the fourth plated the only runs in Wall's 2-0 win over Holmdel.

    Southern

    Aiden Miller

    Miller had a triple and went 2-for-3 with an RBI and scored a run as the Rams held on to defeat Brick 4-3 and clinched the outright Shore Conference Class A South championship. It is the second straight season Southern has won at least a share of the divisional title and the first time it has won a divisional championship outright since 1986, when a team coached by Jim Hutchinson Sr., won Class A South.

    Joe Nascimento

    Nascimento earned the save by getting a strikeout on a 3-2 pitch in the final pitch of a nine-pitch at-bat with the bases loaded for the final out in the Rams' 4-3 win over Brick.

    Matt Colaneri

    The sophomore left-hander struck out 11, walked one and scattered six hits as the Jaguars defeated Toms River South 5-0 and clinched a berth in the Shore Conference Tournament

    Julian Caruso

    Caruso doubled, scored three runs and went 3-for-3 with a walk and an RBI in the Jaguars' 5-0 win over Toms River South

    Jackson Osmond

    Osmond homered and went 2-for-4 and scored two runs in the Jaguars' 5-0 win over Toms River South.

    Brody Moore

    Moore's two out single to right in the top of the eighth scored Jimi Popp with the go-ahead run as the Mustangs defeated Toms River East 2-1.

    Zach Pirnik and James Martin

    The two combined on a four-hitter in the Mustangs' 2-1 win in eight innings over Toms River East. Pirnik pitched the first six innings, allowed a run on three hits and struck out six and walked none. Martin struck out three, walked none and allowed one hit over the final two innings to pick up the win.

    Ferrara was 3-for-4 with an RBI in the Raiders' 2-1 defeat in eight innings to Brick Memorial.

    The junior right-hander fired a complete-game one-hitter and struck out seven and walked one in the Spartans' 5-0 win over Neptune. Jordan Torres' single leading off the bottom of the third was Neptune's only hit.

    Matt Richter

    Richter went 2-for-4 with two RBI in the Spartans' 5-0 win over Neptune.

    Voelkson went 3-for-4 with three RBI and scored a run in Manasquan's 8-2 win over Freehold Borough.
