You can go an entire week in the spring without two Livingston County teams playing one another, given the fact there are only seven MHSAA schools in the county and not all play in the same league.
This week will be a glorious exception for fans looking for some rivalry action.
On Monday, Hartland will visit Howell in baseball and boys lacrosse.
Tuesday brings us the renewal of the county’s top girls soccer rivalry, with Hartland traveling to Brighton’s Sloan Field. The same schools will compete against each other in track and field that day at Hartland.
Wednesday will be a day of rivalry overload. Howell will visit Hartland in baseball and softball, Brighton will play boys lacrosse at Hartland and Hartland will travel to Brighton in girls lacrosse.
Brighton, Hartland and Howell will convene with 13 other schools Saturday for the Kensington Lakes Activities Association track and field meet.
