In 2019, Starr lost his 12-year-old daughter, Sienna, to suicide. Friday would have been Sienna’s 17th birthday.

Chad channeled his grief into action, uniting our community to talk story and spread love. With every step, Chad seeks hearing and support, all while raising funds for a mental health non-profit dedicated to creating a more compassionate world.

I partnered with Fight Story, started by Angela Lee in honor of her sister Victoria Lee who she lost to suicide. So they’re great. They give people a space to just express what they are going throuh and their struggles. So that’s important, it’s important the people have a platform, you know just a place to talk about these things and get it out there.

Chad is walking 20 miles a day to circle the island in a week. To join the walk or contribute to the cause, visit Fight Story’s website.
