    Attempted homicide on Pennsylvania man leads to police investigation

    ( WJET/WFXP ) — State police are on the lookout for a suspect who reportedly shot at a Pennsylvania man in Venango County on Wednesday.

    PSP Franklin was dispatched to Shamburg Road in Oil Creek Township for the report of shots being fired around 6:41 p.m. on May 1.

    A witness reportedly saw a gold, four-door 2007 Ford Fusion with tinted windows drive up the road and heard one of the neighbors verbally engage the driver.

    The driver allegedly walked towards the victim with a gun, fired three shots at them and then fled the scene in the vehicle towards State Route 227.

    DNA leads to arrest of Pennsylvania man 14 years after gas station robbery

    Police later identified the driver as 31-year-old Anthony M. Young, of Pleasantville. He has been charged with attempted homicide; aggravated assault; firearms not to be carried without a license; recklessly endangering another person; and criminal mischief.

    An arrest warrant for Young has been obtained.
